SUSPIRIA : Fake news horror show


Suspiria comprises of three screens displaying news from different sources. The news is channeled from video streams, facebook timelines, and twitter feeds. The audience is invited to guess which screen holds fake news and vote on their phones. Upon voting, it is revealed to them that all the three sources of news are real and curated, and the piece itself is fake. The idea is to see how users perceive news, and how suspicion or skepticism can sometimes stray viewers away from information. Consequently, we seek to analyze the votes for bias, for or against certain sources of news.
